A Trip To: Richmond Park

Sundays are made for lazy mornings and afternoon walks, and with Richmond Park a 5 minute walk from my University – it was the perfect Sunday afternoon retreat. Everybody needs a break from work every now and then, and after being stuck inside working on assignments all weekend, spending a few hours walking around and drinking hot chocolate was just what we needed.

I can’t believe how lucky I am to have this beautiful green space right at my doorstep, and it’s something I enjoyed so much I needed to share. I also can’t believe there are so many deer – who really couldn’t care less about everybody walking around getting photos of/with them.

If you’re into running or cycling, this would be great to run through for a change of scenery – and there were SO many people already cycling along the paths. If you live around the area and have never been, or you’re visiting London and want a change from the typical ‘tourist’ destinations  I would 100% recommend a visit – and the best thing is it’s completely free!
